We're headed to opening briefs, and we need your help

On August 19, the judge overruled the City's second demurrer in our lawsuit, so our case moves forward. Opening briefs are due October 30.

We're challenging the City's decision to double the Etiwanda Heights Neighborhood from 3,000 to 6,300 homes: about 18,000 people in 1.2 square miles, at least 12,000 more cars, and the loss of habitat.

Reaching opening briefs will cost about $20,000. Don't let our opponents outspend us.

The Rancho Cucamonga Preservation Society (RCPS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, including the promotion of public safety, fire hazard mitigation, and responsible land use planning in the Inland Empire region. The organization pursues these purposes through public interest litigation, community education, advocacy before governmental bodies, and research into the impacts of land use decisions on emergency evacuation infrastructure, environmental integrity, and community welfare.
